POSITION SUMMARY

The Patient Care Services Manager (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) provides leadership using Asante Guiding Values to one or more clinical areas and/or services. The primary purpose of the position is to coordinate available resources, assist in the management and guide the strategic direction of the department, and assure accountability of health care professionals to support delivery of superb health care services.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Bachelor's in a healthcare related field, preferred

Required Experience

• 3 years progressive leadership experience and 2 years of clinical experience. Clinical leadership experience highly desired.

• RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start

Preferred

• Masters Degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field
• CNML: Certified Nurse Manager Leader by the American Organization of Nurse Leaders (AONL).
