The Data Science function at Asana is instrumental in enabling Asana's mission by instilling a data-influenced approach in building the product or business strategy and building and iterating to deliver value to our users. Data Scientists closely partner with Product, Business, Design, Engineering, and also other members of the Data team. We leverage experimentation, statistical modeling and machine learning techniques, causal inference, and data storytelling to deepen our understanding of Asana customers and make optimal decisions to drive more business value.
Within this broader framework, the Marketing Data Science team is responsible for leveraging data and scientific techniques to be a force multiplier for Asana’s overall effectiveness in marketing. This team collaborates with marketing leadership, and also within the broader Asana data community to identify new opportunities to drive Asana’s marketing capabilities and efficiency forward. This role reports directly to the Head of Business Data Science, and is a people management role.
This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $258,000 - $328,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
