Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Addiction Counselor to provide counseling, support, and education to individuals and their families dealing with substance use disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of addiction and a passion for helping clients on their recovery journey.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' substance use and mental health status.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions.
- Educate clients and families about addiction and recovery.
- Facilitate support groups and therapeutic activities.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

Qualifications:
- Valid license or certification as an Addiction Counselor in Michigan (e.g., CADC, LPC, LCSW).
