Job Description
DEPARTMENT: FINANCE/ ACCOUNTING
RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE:
1. COLLECTING FUNDS FROM THE ACCOUNT BASE WITH FOCUS ON PAST DUE ACCOUNTS, CHARGEBACKS AND ACCOUNTS EXCEEDING THEIR CREDIT GUIDE. ENSURE COLLECTIONS NOTES ARE UPDATED DURING EACH ENCOUNTER.
2. PROVIDE THE NECESSARY PAPERWORK TO FACILATE CUSTOMERS’ PAYMENT PROCESSING. FOR EXAMPLE, COPIES OF MISSING INVOICES AND PROOF OF DELIVERIES SHOULD BE SENT UPON REQUEST.
3. RESEARCH AND FOLLOW UP WITH CUSTOMER CHARGEBACKS AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION TO RESOLVE ALL DISPUTES.
4. CONSULT CFO FOR ADVICE ON COMPLEX CREDIT PROBLEMS REQUIRING A SIGNIFICANT DEVIATION FROM ASA’S CREDIT POLICY.
5. PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT AS NEEDED.
