Job Summary

Asa Carlton, Inc., a commercial construction company headquartered in Braselton, GA, currently has an opening for a Bid Solicitor. The Bid Solicitor is responsible for assisting the Pre-construction Department in the solicitation of bids from subcontractors and vendors.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Take direction and complete all tasks as assigned by the Bid Supervisor.

· Distribute Invitations to Bid (ITB) and other project-related information to subcontractors and vendors.

· Make calls and send email to subcontractors and vendors on projects out for bid.

· Create and maintain an accurate call log for projects bidding and provide daily updates to the Bid Supervisor.

· Create bid folders for all new jobs.

· Collaborate with the ACI Insurance Administrator to obtain subcontractor COI and insurance documentation.

· Assist estimators and the preconstruction team as needed.

· Understand and follow company policy, processes, and procedures.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

· Commercial construction background desired.

· High School Diploma required. Associate-degree or equivalence in experience preferred.

· Must be organized & pay acute attention to detail.

· Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

· English required / Bilingual Spanish a plus.

· Ability to multitask.

· Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze a situation and make a logical conclusion.

· Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite, with an emphasis in Excel.

· Intermediate skill level with technology and computer systems.

· Experience with Bluebeam is a plus.

· Possess the ability to promote and contribute to a productive working team environment.

· This is a Corporate Office position based out of our Braselton, GA office.

· A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
