Arvest Bank is Hiring a Treasury Mgmt Sales Specialist 1 Near Rogers, AR

Location: Incumbent can be located in Northwest Arkansas, Little Rock, AR, Kansas City, MO, Springfield, MO, Joplin, MO, Oklahoma City, OK, or Tulsa OK.

Hours: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.

Exempt: No

Salary Grade: Grade 12

Summary:

SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Regional Treasury Management (TM) Sales Manager, the TM Sales Specialist 1 is responsible for supporting the TM sales team by working closely with level 1 and 2 TM Sales Advisors to enable sales. The Specialist leverages centralized resources, conducts some data gathering and analysis, and is developing their knowledge of TM products. The incumbent supports TM sales related activities by performing the administrative side of sales, including creating pricing pro formas and drafting customer agreements, customer proposals, pitch books, and other sales materials. The incumbent is very detail oriented. Assistance is readily available from TM Sales Advisors and the Regional TM Sales Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide support for TM Sales Advisors (levels 1 & 2) with sales related activities including creating pricing pro formas, customer legal agreements, customer proposals, pitch books, and other sales materials. Typically supports two to three assigned Advisors.
  • Work efficiently by leveraging all centralized resources appropriately including TM RFP support, TM Risk Management & Contract Assurance, and Training & Go to Market.
  • Prepare initial sales contracts for review prior to sending them to customers, following the Customer Focused Banking (CFB) discipline and approach to sales support activities.
  • Conduct customer & portfolio analysis to help the assigned Advisor(s) uncover unmet customer needs. Perform the required data gathering prior to analysis. Assistance is available from the assigned TM Advisor and the TM Regional Sales Manager.
  • Create Treasury Management Reviews for TM Advisors to use when meeting with top customers annually.
  • Use and create templates to provide more meaningful analysis and data for TM Advisors to use in sales activities.
  • Initiate and track customer onboarding activities and coordinate when escalation is required.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the TM products most often sold by TM Advisors 1 & 2, related services, and systems to enable sales.
  • Print and produce final Requests for Proposals (RFPs) including responses provided by the TM RFP Specialist, pricing, and executive summary in the format required by the customer for the assigned TM Sales Advisor to deliver.
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in in business related field (Finance, Economic, Accounting, et al) or equivalent related experience with banking solutions required.
  • Demonstrated interest or knowledge of Treasury Management solutions preferred.
  • Strong customer skills including desire to meet customer needs through sales preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint preferred.
  • Professional level written and verbal communication skills preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills preferred.
  • Arvest experience preferred.
