Arvest Bank is Hiring a Product Analyst - Consumer Collections Near Lowell, AR

Work Type: Full Time

Strong SQL skills, SQL programming and database management of existing databases preferred.

Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with the ability to work additional hours as needed.

Position is located at 202 S Goad Springs Road, Lowell, AR.

Summary:

SUMMARY: The Product Analyst is a part of the team that is charged with managing product line(s) in a division or business unit. The incumbent works with internal stakeholders to improve the quality of the services being delivered through the products by defining needs, recommending solutions, assisting in the integration and testing of new solutions. The Product Analyst serves as the bridge between technology, the product and the associates by analyzing, transforming and resolving the business problems and creating solutions. The incumbent assists in the development of project requirements and supports the development of training and communication materials, participates in the implementation and provides post-implementation support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform lifecycle product analysis and recommend upgrades that can be introduced to create a better or more useful product; monitor product performance across markets and prepare detailed reports.
  • Identify and define the solutions that will maximize the value delivered by the product to the stakeholders. Define strategy, goals and requirements to support the continuous improvement initiatives in the assigned product and the processes.
  • Identify issues, document and log findings, define new workflow processes, design potential fixes, conduct unit testing, document, log and track test results. Collaborate with assigned manager to present recommendations to the applicable vendors and stakeholders for implementation into product and/or processes.
  • Work with IT for the administration of upgrade implementation into applicable systems; assist with testing new configurations before release.
  • Utilize data analysis software to research market trends; correctly project the costs of developing and marketing a product, as well as potential sales and profit.
  • Create reports on the performance of assigned product and suggest possible improvements.
  • Liaise with numerous parties from different departments; advise on competitive pricing strategy; project costs of development and launch; suggest improvements to the development team.
  • Work with appropriate compliance groups to document, log and track changes while ensuring consistent documentation change implementation processes throughout all affected system(s).
  • Design consistent, convenient and user-friendly improvements for the product enhancements in consideration of ease of use and satisfactory end user experience while ensuring design improvements meet compliance and policy protocol.
  • As directed by the assigned manager, serve on applicable committees or attend bank/shared services meetings; represent the assigned product as a proficient subject matter expert.
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank’s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related work experience required.
  • 3 years of experience with critical business software systems required.
  • Strong analytical skills, an inquisitive nature and a track record of creative problem solving required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Experience in product management preferred.
  • Change management experience and demonstrated personal resilience in implementing new processes and programs preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing all aspects of a successful product or business project throughout its lifecycle preferred.
  • Experience related to the assigned product(s) preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The incumbent must be able to travel occasionally by themselves within the U.S., including overnight, and via automobile and air.
