Landscape Designer
We're seeking a Landscape Designer to join our design-build division in our new office in Osterville, MA. Our design studio is growing, and this is an excellent opportunity for experienced individuals looking to advance their careers and work with our team of craftsmen to design and implement award-winning projects for our clients.
Requirements
3 years of experience in landscape design, particularly high-end residential properties;
2 years experience using AutoCAD. Sketch-up: nice to have but optional.
Experience working in Google Suite/Microsoft Software is recommended but not required
Ability to read site plans and create technical drawings
High-level understanding of zoning requirements and permit procedures by town, including conservation committees
Expert-level knowledge of products and materials (plants, hardscapes, lighting, etc.)
Expert-level understanding of grading and drainage
Sales experience with high-end clientele
Valid MA Driver’s license with an excellent driving record
Responsibilities
Coordinate with Client Experience Manager to schedule appointments for pre-qualified design leads to explore project details with residential clients
Meet with clients for design consultations, map and design plans according to client specifications utilizing CAD software
Work closely with Billing Administrator to track design time and ensure invoice accuracy for clients
Coordinate with project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within the budget set by the client
Monitor on-going projects to ensure design specifications, material/vendor selection and project budgets are adhered too
Work closely with our Project Managers and construction crews to ensure design plans are executed according to site plans and efficiently. Provide guidance or clarification when needed.
Maintain consistent and timely communication with clients throughout the design and build process.
