Job Description

This is an hourly Warehouse Stockman role who will be joining a warehouse team of three. In the beginning, this person will start with just being a delivery driver to take on other responsibilities eventually mirroring a full-fledged purchaser. Beginning responsibilities will primarily be picking, sorting, organizing, and delivering materials in the warehouse and to/from vendors to job sites. The second step will be creating sales/purchase orders, receiving/shipping orders. After that step, they will be moved into more administrative tasks that require them to take ownership of going forward.

Responsibilities

• Inventory/Equipment Management - picking, sorting, organizing, documenting inbound/outbound materials
• Coordination and delivery of materials from vendors to jobsite and technicians
• Accounting - create sales orders, purchase orders, receiving, shipping, reconciling of orders and invoices
• Administrative - organized, update spreadsheet information as needed, maintain documentations
• Material handling - operate forklift, load/unload inbound/outbound trucks, manually move materials, pickup/deliver materials in company truck
• Other related responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• 21 only with clean driving record
• Forklift certification a plus but not required, will provide training
• Must be able to lift 50lbs independently, up to 250lbs with assistance
• Able to be on feet and/or sitting for long periods of time (ie- warehouse work or driving)
• Basic computer/phone skills, able to type proficiently, understanding of accounting basics
• Excellent communication skills via talk, text, email
• Flexible in tasks required, will shift type of work constantly
• Position will be exposed to the elements when required, also will get dirty on occasion
• Experience driving a 16ft flatbed a plus but not required, will provide training
• Experience with transportation hauling/loading/securing a plus but not required
• Comfortable taking charge of communication with vendors, management, field technicians
• Basic knowledge of logistics and local geography
• Can work independently without direct supervision
• Can work in a sometimes fast paced, hectic environment

Pay and Schedule

• Monday - Thursday 0500-1500 w/30min lunch, Friday optional and as needed
• Must join IBEW46 after hire as Stockman level 1
• Pay at Stockman level 1 - $20.17/hour
• Benefits via IBEW46

Pay: From $20.17 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
