ArtiFlex Manufacturing is Hiring a Robot Programmer Near Wyoming, MI
- Configure robot models, software packages, & firmware updates
- Setup communication for 3rd party (peripheral) equipment (Dispense, Welding, Vision)
- Setup safety configurations (Fanuc DCS, ABB Safe Move)
- Provide technical support and robotic programming for specialty machines, and equipment upgrades
- Complete offline simulations, utilize simulations data to establish cell cycle-times and optimize applications
- Support team members during startup, debug and runoff in-house; followed by the relocation, setup, and runoff at customer facility
- Train and mentor entry level programmers
- Experience with starting up a new robot, full robot I/O configuration, simulation software, loading programs, diagnosing errors/faults, as well as path programming
- 3 years of field experience in robotics
- Robot programming of: Fanuc, ABB, Motoman, and/or Epson or willingness to learn
- Experience programming robots for MIG welding, resistance (spot) welding, and material handling
- Knowledge of PLC programming and machine controls systems is preferred
- Must have the ability to travel for installations
