Drivers Helper Job Description
Location: Venice, FL
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Drivers Helper to assist our drivers in collecting trash and garbage from various locations. This position offers a great opportunity to gain experience in the transportation industry and work as part of a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
- Loading and unloading garbage and trash material into the trucks
- Ensure that all items are securely strapped down and properly arranged in the vehicle
- Help navigate to different delivery locations using GPS or maps
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients at delivery sites
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
Salary info:
$16 - $17 / hr
