Role: Cloud - Technical Delivery Manager/Principal Consultant (Onsite- 3 days per week)

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: FTE

Experience: 12-15 Years

Primary Skills: Strong Azure Cloud-Spark/Pyspark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF)

Responsibilities:

As a Tech Delivery Manager/Principal consultant in a data program, your responsibilities may include:

Strategic Planning: Help our customer in developing and executing a strategic vision for the data program, aligning it with the organization's goals and objectives.

Project Management: Act as a single point of contact for our clint by overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of data projects within the program, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Data Governance: Establishing and maintaining data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the program.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with key stakeholders, such as business leaders, IT teams, and data scientists, to understand their requirements and ensure the program meets their needs.

Team Leadership: Leading and guiding a team of data professionals, providing mentorship, coaching, and support to help them achieve their goals and deliver high-quality results.

Technical Skills:

· Over all 12 to 15 years of experience with Data Management, Azure, Big Data and Analytics.

· At least 4 to 5 years of experience in architecting and implementing cloud native data solutions.

· At least 4 to 5 years of experience with big data using spark and java for data processing.

· Apache Spark experience using Scala or PySpark or pre-packaged tools like Databrick is plus.

· Experience in building and using ARM templates to provision and manage IaC.

· Experience in implementing Big Data platform using event-based architecture.

· At least one year experience with unified data governance solution using MS Purview.

· Developing the CICD pipeline for Azure Infrastructure, version control strategy and Integrate source control (Azure repos)

· Experience with java programming is a plus.

· Extensive hands-on experience in designing and tuning ETL/ELT process development by using cloud native technologies.

· In-depth understanding of various storage services offered by Azure/AWS.

· Experience with implementation of data security, encryption, PII/PSI legislation, identity and access management across sources and environments.

· Experience with data process Orchestration, end-to-end design and build process of Near-Real Time and Batch Data Pipelines.

· Certification in Azure data engineering and solution architecture Azure are must.

· Multi cloud certification is a plus.

· Strong client-facing communication and facilitation skills.
