Experienced Certified Medical Assistant needed for busy rheumatology practice on East Jefferson Hospital campus.
Currently we are looking for 1 Full Time 40 hour per week position with schedule as below AS WELL AS 1 Part-time position with more flexible hours. Preferred if part-time worker would be open to PRN work as well.

Please note that we open early on Tuesdays.
Experience in medical office and with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities will involve checking vitals and reviewing medications but as this is a small office, a flexible team player is a must. The MA will be answering phone calls for the physician they work with closely. This position will also include about 50% clerical work including filing electronic faxes into the EHR and chart preparation so that the clinics run smoothly. We are also looking for someone who is quick, enthusiastic, and has an efficient and disciplined work ethic. We will also train in performing bone density scans and the MA would be responsible performing them a few days per week.

Full time MA hours:
M-F starting at 8AM with the exception of Tuesday which starts at 7AM. Office closes at 1:30PM on Fridays.

Part time MA hours: Flexible but most likely 2-3 days Mon-Thurs.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
