Arthrex is actively searching for a Lab Operations Inventory Control Associate I to work in coordination with the Labs Department to support events throughout the Country, and assist with procurement of equipment within the SAP environment as well as the day-to-day operations within the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for making sure that all necessary equipment and disposables for all labs are pulled, completed, accurate and shipped to the pending lab on time.
  • Responsible for accurate inventory and processing of all department requests.
  • Responsible for maintaining updated equipment trays with new instrumentation.
  • Develops and maintains lab checklists and other reference materials.
  • Ensures all lab products are inspected / tested for proper function, current rev. level, repaired, replacements, and disposition of obsolete products.
  • Responsible for set-up / tear down of in-house workshops / sales trainings & offsite labs after attendance.
  • Responsible for cleaning / disinfecting of all lab trays that come back from offsite labs. Observes all blood-borne pathogen and related safety procedures.
  • Takes over duties for any team member during their absence and helps team members when necessary.
  • Responsible for daily cleaning and organizing of work area.
  • Exhibit advanced product, instrumentation, and disposable knowledge.
  • Communicate with buyer / planners for new set orders and replenishment of goods.
  • Coordinate Lab accessory ordering and processing.
  • Assist with lab set up and help with single day labs as needed.
  • This position requires travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Be able to lift 50 lbs and move 100 lbs.

Education / Experience :

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Experience in inventory control or warehouse and materials planning helpful but not required.

Skills :

  • Inspect and audit incoming lab operations inventory.
  • Develop computer proficiency skills to perform basic SAP system transactions (picking, packing, shipping, and storage location transfers).
  • Develop basic product and instrumentation knowledge.
  • Demonstrate ability to be able to assist with backroom inventory and lab station teardowns at Naples ArthroLab when necessary.
