ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

The essential function of an Apprentice Service Technician – Assist Plumber with general plumbing/drain cleaning services. This position handles service calls to customers in their homes and utilizes customer service training to educate and assist customers in choosing service, products, and finance options. Follow sound business practice, provide excellent customer service. Understand and follow the Nexstar Service System.

The Role

We re looking for exceptional Plumbing install apprentices who can deliver world-class customer service.

As a Plumbing apprentice, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to demonstrate technical competency and exceed customer expectations by accomplishing the highest quality installations, every time.

By working closely with the lead, you will complete jobs on time and under budget, helping achieve the company s financial goals. The position will be based in our office, with opportunities to travel to the market you are working in.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead Plumber with general plumbing/drain cleaning; be efficient and accurate.
• Know how to establish customer rapport to ensure highest levels of satisfaction.
• Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
• Assist in properly staging jobs, adhering to quality checklist.
• Support lead plumber in maintaining a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
• Participate actively in all formal exercises and on-the-job training to master trade.
• Assist in completing accurate and timely paperwork.

Additional Information:

This position will require working indoors and outdoors in various climate conditions ranging from cold with rain to very hot and humid. This includes attics, crawl spaces, and confined locations.

Typical workweek is eight (8) to ten (10) hour workdays five (5) days per week with occasional weekend work and remember there is no on call.
