Busy Dance Studio and Dance Retail Store seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Customer Service and Retail Sales front desk team member. In your key role as our customer service and sales representative you’ll be the first point of contact for hundreds of families, responding speedily to all customer issues. As one of our most visible representatives, you’re our brand’s ambassador!

You’re 6-star customer service will help foster happy and loyal customer relationships for years to come. This is a part time position.

The Art of Dance and Essential Dance Shop has been in business serving the community for over 50 years. We are looking for a clever, creative, tech-savvy, self-motivated and detail-oriented star to join our team. The successful candidate must be someone who wants to make a difference. You’ll have an outstanding attention to detail and a strong drive to provide an out of this world customer service experience each and every time. You will be able to multitask on assorted merchandising and front desk dance studio responsibilities. Retail Sales or Retail Management experience a plus.

Responsibilities include:

* Welcoming dancers and customers as they arrive for class and to shop.

* Provide excellent customer service.

* Sales of dance wear, shoes and supplies

* Registering students in computer data base

* Confident answering phone calls and speaking with clients on the phone and in person

* Promotion of dance classes and programs

* Assisting with the management of inventory and /or merchandising

* Use of cash register in POS

* Be at least an 8 out of 10 when it comes to loving and understanding technology

* Helping with the day to day running of the dance studio and retail store

* Maintain a neat and clean facility

· Candidates must be energetic, friendly, and like to smile. You love children, parents and have a courteous positive attitude

· Some experience or knowledge of dance a plus, experience with retail and merchandising, familiarity with Microsoft Office computer programs necessary.

Positions Available; afternoon 3:00-8:00pm Hours are flexible, Saturday's 8:30-3:00

Compensation - $16-18 per hour
