ARSIEM is currently looking for a Unix Developer. The positions will support one of our Government clients in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex UNIX platform specific capabilities
• Join a team of developers working on various UNIX capabilities 
• Support the group's overall mission to design, develop, test, and maintain CNO capabilities

• 8 (SD3) years of experience programming in C/C or similar and Python
• In-depth understanding of network protocols
• In-depth understanding of OS internals
• Experience with IDA Pro, Ghidra, or similar binary analysis tools a plus
• Familiarity with modern software engineering concepts
• Knowledge of common CNO techniques 
• Ability to gather requirements and design a solution with minimal oversight
• Ability to present a development plan and forecast deliverables
• Labor Category Requirements: Software Developer III
• Lead a team to design, develop, and test application software to fulfill unique Windows, Unix, or other specified platforms requirements.
• Build applications using a specified programming language as per the government.
• Build graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for custom applications
• Respond to evolving requirements in an agile environment
• Labor Category Requirements: Software Developer III
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience programming with object-oriented programming languages.
• Minimum five (5) years experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments OR minimum five (5) years experience developing UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments.
• Experience developing complex programs using, C, C#, C , Java, or other comparable languages
• Minimum three (3) leading projects that develop complex software, ensuring a collaborative environment, and configuration management, and Experience implementing software life cycle management (requirements, design, develop, test, validate, deploy)

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role? The bonus for this position ranges from $5,000 to $10,000, and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches 6 months of employment.
