What You Will Do

The Facility Navigator will monitor and maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Routine monitoring of the building, parkinglot, and patient waiting areas. Maintainsa high visibility presence and report inappropriate and unsafe actions andbehaviors. Frequent patrols of the buildingsurrounding areas, and parking lot to identify and report damage and potentialsecurity risks. Adheres to vision and mission of the ARS.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets clients and visitors of ARS.

• Monitors and controlaccess at building entrance, and lobby area, ensuring that area is neat, clean,and orderly.

• Provide generalexternal facility upkeep.

• Responsible forsweeping front entrance/steps; clear entrance/steps from snow and ice.

• Monitors parking lot,ensuring that traffic is moving in an orderly and safe manner.

• Observes for signs of disorder disturbances.

• Supports Medical/Clinical Departments as needed.

• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Long period ofstanding, frequent walking.

• Manual dexterity,auditory and visual skills.

• Ensure sidewalks arecleared, clean, and free of debris.

• Ability to followwritten and oral instructions and procedures.

• Occasionally requiredreach, bend, knee, run and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements:

• Proven work experienceas a security guard or relevant position.

• Good communication andde-escalation techniques.

• Integrity andprofessionalism.

• High school degree orequivalence.
