ArrowheadEngineered Products. is Hiring an EPM Financial Systems Analyst (FT) Near Circle, MN

Summary:
The EPM Financial Systems Analyst will provide system support to various stakeholders within the company’s finance & accounting functions. This role will lead the management and operation of the Oracle FCCS (Financial Close and Consolidations Cloud) technology platform to support the company’s financial consolidation. They will be responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate consolidated financial reporting (P&L, B/S and Cash Flow) for the company’s domestic and international operations to both internal and external stakeholders. They will serve as a liaison between finance, accounting, and IT to ensure the FCCS application meets the company’s needs.
Duties:
Implementation Phase
  • Key contributor in the development and implementation of Oracle FCCS , culminating in the successful and on-time system launch, partnering with stakeholders on design and execution efforts as the company transitions from legacy processes
  • Support change management initiatives for global user base related to the future development and implementation of FCCS
  • Partner and collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to implement, maintain, and enhance future FCCS and business processes
  • Serve as the finance and system leader for FCCS and provide technical expertise to ensure future business needs are met
  • Evaluate requests for changes to production application, recommend systems enhancements, and lead the development effort for solutions by following established governance processes
  • Work closely with IT and ERP teams in the development and configuration of the development / test / production environments across FCCS
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to integrate legacy system data and processes into a single solution
  • Assist with the definition of and participate in the backup strategy and disaster recovery initiatives for the application
  • Be a key contributor in the future development and implementation of other Oracle EPM applications (EPBCS - Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service, ARCS - Account Reconciliation Cloud Service, Narrative Reporting, and EDMCS - Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service
Post implementation responsibilities include the following:
System Analyst
  • Manage FCCS metadata and support established data governance processes
  • Manage and maintain FCCS, metadata/profiles, task lists & data forms, reports, security, calculation scripts, business rules, and batch processes
  • Assist finance in designing updated or new functionality to existing applications in line with application/product-specific capabilities and performance expectations
  • Provide support for the FCCS application including problem identification, reporting, tracking, analysis, and resolution; coordinate with Oracle Support to track the completion of Oracle Service Requests (“SR’s”) as necessary
  • Maintain/update FCCS training documentation, and support system training for new hires, contractors, and employees that have changed job roles
  • Responsible for running maintenance utilities, creating automation scripts, and required backup utilities
  • Provide testing support for FCCS, including performance testing, integration testing between interfacing systems, and performance tuning
  • Monitor application performance and space utilization
  • Manage the migration lifecycle of FCCS across multiple development, test, and production instances
  • Maintain Oracle Cloud FCCS certification (or latest versions available)
Consolidation Analyst
  • Manage the month-end process across FCCS including support for the data load and reconciliation of actuals, as well as any updates to metadata or security required culminating in the timely completion of the monthly worldwide financial consolidation in accordance with GAAP
  • Key liaison to the global finance organization and global process owners, interact closely with finance team members in various regions
  • Financial reporting to both internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to: Board of Directors, Tax Advisors, Statutory Filings, External Auditors, and other Stand-Alone Legal Entity Reporting
  • Manage reporting of pro-forma accounting adjustments and add-backs for board and bank reporting purposes
  • Oversee and maintain a proper system of internal controls over the financial reporting process, Identify and recommend improvement as necessary
Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, Information Systems, or related discipline or the equivalent in training and experience
  • Finance/Accounting work experience in a large, global, highly acquisitive organization, with global consolidation experience a plus
  • 3-5 yearsof relevant experience specializing in support and system implementation, with Oracle or OneStream EPM experience preferred
  • CPA, CMA or other appropriate certification preferred
Skills:
  • Strong foundation in accounting/finance concepts and knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong understanding of global consolidation and foreign currency
  • High level attention to detail
  • Ability to design, develop, and maintain new and existing reports
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and SMEs across the globe
  • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels of the organization to achieve strategic objectives
  • Experience with change management and data governance procedures
  • Experience with general ledger systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle FCCS, SmartView, and EPM Automate utility preferred
  • Experience supporting Oracle Cloud EPM Suite of applications, including troubleshooting and knowledge to take corrective action preferred
  • Strong experience with Essbase (calculation scripts, MaxL scripts, business rules, batch scripts) or Excel macros preferred
  • Experience with Groovy preferred
