The Ideal Quality Control Technician understands:

  • Job Requirements, quality policy, safety, quality, operation instructions, control plans, measuring and test equipment and SPC.
  • Maintains quality documents, records.

Quality Control Technician Requirements:

  • Capable of performing quality related math functions.
  • Understanding of quality control concepts.

Job Duties:

1. Follow broad-based objectives:

a. Operates Independently.

b. Informs of activities on a daily basis.

2. Performs all quality control tasks that include but not limited to:

a. Inspection (1st piece) and testing (in-process, final)

b. Daily and part audits.

c. Nonconforming material control.

d. Receiving inspection and testing or raw materials.

e. Periodic inspections of all products in production status.

f. All other task a indicated in the quality control policy and procedures manual.

3. Maintain records of inspection and testing:

a. Records data.

b. Reporting activities (verbal, written, electronic)

c. Compares data to specifications to ensure compliance.

4. Performs other assignments as required.

a. Runs errands as needed.

b. Performs special studies as needed.
