Responsibilities
Administer existing benefit plans, identify areas for improvement, and recommend enhancements to ensure competitive offerings and alignment with industry trends.
Lead the administration of company 401K plan including all testing and reporting requirements.
Payroll Administration Manage and oversee end-to-end biweekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
Collaborate and facilitate external vendors, brokers, consultants, and HR Leadership team to negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and resolve benefit-related issues.
Oversee open enrollment processes, including communication, employee education, and enrollment management system management.
Support due diligence activities for M&A projects and define and execute the strategy along with HR Leadership team for integrations strategy.
Stay updated on relevant regulations, laws, and compliance requirements related to employee benefits, ensuring adherence to all legal obligations.
Collaborate with finance and HR teams to maintain accurate employee records, including compensation data, deductions, and tax information.
Review and reconcile payroll reports, resolve discrepancies, and address any payroll-related inquiries from employees.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
Implement and maintain payroll systems and software, seeking opportunities for process improvements and automation.
Compliance Reporting Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to benefits and payroll, such as ERISA, HIPPA, FLSA, and ACA
Prepare and submit required government filings, including W-2’s, 1095-Cs, 5500s, and other relevant reports.
Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits, internal controls, and compliance reviews.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
Proven experience 5 years in total rewards management, specifically in benefits administration and payroll processing Strong knowledge of benefits plans, retirement programs.
In-depth understanding of payroll processing, tax laws, and payroll software systems.
Familiarity with compensation strategies, market analysis, and job evaluation methodologies
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior management, and external partners.
