Arrowhead Engineered Products is Hiring a Remote IT - Manager, Data and Analytics

Summary:
This position will be a core part of the analytics team and be focused on meeting the needs of our internal customers. The manager of data and analytics will design and modify data pipelines and build dashboards using Power BI, managing data/data analytics in Azure Synapse and other data tools needed to optimize financial analytics and operational efficiency while adhering to appropriate data quality and data governance principles.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Work with the business key stakeholders and the VP – Systems and Analytics to identify high-value analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the organization.
  • Work directly with Business Segment Operations leaders to develop key KPIs and corporate level dashboards.
  • Manage, mentor, train, and develop the Data & Analytics team.
  • Establish data as a core competency for the organization.
  • Identify skills gaps, build the team and be responsible for data across all verticals.
  • Ensure that the data analytics ecosystem is optimally designed, scalable, flexible, and can ingest real-time and batch data sources.
  • Work with and be the primary liaison to the master data management team to ensure that high-quality data is loaded into the server.
  • Work with and be the primary liaison to the IT and FPNA teams to ensure that the Analytics, IT, and FPNA teams are fully supporting each other. Build and manage detailed work breakdown project plans for the Analytics team.
  • Define, lead, and execute appropriate unit, system, performance, and user acceptance test strategies and standards.
  • Track analytics action items, issues, and priorities for the Data & Analytics team.
Education and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or related field; or an associate degree and 3-5 plus years of experience working in data management, accounts payable, supply chain, or related discipline
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience building dashboards using Power BI including strong design experience and managing data and/or performing data analytics within Azure Datawarehouse (Synapse preferred)
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience working with and supporting operational data.
  • Experience with leading and managing teams
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong background in working with operations to provide operational efficiency reports that provide key indicators
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Microsoft office products
  • Able to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Experience in matrix organizations
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Working Conditions:
May be exposed to outside weather conditions; heated and air-conditioned office.
