Job Title

Forklift Driver – Material Handler

Responsibilities for Forklift Driver – Material Handler

Operate forklift safely and efficiently
Operate tow motor
Unload steel trucks and place steel in designated areas
Load steel coils onto equipment de-reelers
Move finished product to inventory or shipping area
Empty scrap hoppers
Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met
Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required
Work with others to meet production needs and improve operations

Qualifications

Forklift /Tow Motor experience preferred
Mechanical skills
Computer skills
Math skills
Sharp attention to detail
Self-driven and hard worker
Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Reports to Manufacturing Supervisor
