We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team at Arrow Senior Concierge. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals who require help with daily activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life and contribute to their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Prepare meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and tidying up
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed- using client's vehicle
- Engage in meaningful conversation and provide emotional support
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients
Experience:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices- We provide a minimum of 4 hours of one on one training in client's home.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards individuals with varying needs
- Ability to adapt to different situations and handle unexpected challenges with composure
