DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Supervises all clinical staff activities, which includes monitoring groups, individual therapy, documentation practices, and charting to maintain the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
  • Providing direct clinical care to clients in individual and group settings, as needed.
  • Develops and implements the policies and procedures for the operation of the outpatient clinic.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with contracted billing company and any internal utilization review staff.
  • Participates in the overall employment process for clinical staff, including recruiting, interviewing, employing, supervising, and discharging, according to established personnel policies.
  • Provides supervision and documentation of clinical staff training and development, and monitors the compliance of staff credentialing. This includes initial onboarding training and required trainings ongoingly.
  • Promotes a positive workplace culture to effectively recruit and retain high quality staff.

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Health Related field.
  • License in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or substance use (i.e. LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, and/ or similar licensure).
PREFERRED
  • Clinical supervision certification/ licensure required.
  • 2 years, at minimum, of supervisory experience required.
  • ASAM and DSM experience and knowledge
  • 5 years of Mental Health and/or Substance Use Treatment experience required, preferably in an outpatient setting.
  • Experience with startup organizations is preferred.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency.
