Director of ARRO Water Services Essential duties and responsibilities:

• New and existing business development
• Compliance oversight
• Employee training & development
• Planning initiatives & special projects
• Consulting for ARRO Consulting (non-AWS) projects and clients
• Operations & project scheduling
• General administrative & supervisory functions
• Back-up and emergency operations (as needed)

Director of ARRO Water Services Job Knowledge:

• Advanced knowledge of wastewater/water treatment plant operating standards.
• Advanced knowledge of safety standards and procedures in treatment plant environment.
• Advanced knowledge of department rules and procedures.*
• Advanced knowledge of NPDES permit standards required per plant.*
• Advanced knowledge of wastewater/water treatment plant computer-operated control systems.

Director of ARRO Water Services Preferred Qualifications:

• PA Wastewater / Water Systems Operator Certification of the appropriate class and subclass for the Authority’s Treatment Plant facility (at time of hire).
• Valid drivers license (Required)

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lititz, PA 17543: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• water and/or wastewater operator: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• PA Wastewater or Water Systems Operator Certification (Preferred)
