Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including employee relations, talent management, recruitment, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates
- Conduct new employee orientations and ensure proper onboarding procedures are followed
- Coordinate employee training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure accurate recordkeeping
- Manage FMLA leave requests and ensure compliance with applicable laws
- Conduct employee evaluations to assess performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in employment laws to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with department managers to address HR-related issues and provide guidance on best practices
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources management role
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
- Experience with HR sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems (e.g., UltiPro)
- Proven ability to effectively manage employee relations issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
