Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical team. As a Registered Nurse in the medical/surgical unit, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing medical treatment. Duties:
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in medical status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care, Botulinum toxin treatment, and sonography
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions and treatment options
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information in medical records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in medical documentation and electronic health records systems
- Ability to operate medical equipment, including imaging devices
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to assess patient needs and provide appropriate interventions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations
