ARE YOU THE LPN SKILLED NURSING AND LONG TERM CARE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

To excel in this LPN position at ARRC One, you'll need a diverse set of skills to provide exceptional care to our residents. You must be proficient in administering medications under a doctor's supervision and capable of assisting with patient mobility tasks alongside the nursing team. Attention to detail is essential as you monitor and record vital signs, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of any changes.

Your ability to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for residents, including handling routine patient hygiene tasks, will be crucial. With strong communication skills, you'll collaborate effectively with the healthcare team and report any unusual situations promptly. Prior work experience, an Associate's Degree in Nursing, a valid Practical Nurse State Nursing License, and up-to-date credentials and immunizations are required to thrive in this role.

YOUR DAY AS A LPN SKILLED NURSING AND LONG TERM CARE

As a new LPN in our skilled nursing and long-term care team, you can expect to work closely with residents to provide compassionate and high-quality care. Your daily tasks will include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans. You'll have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with residents and their families, ensuring their comfort and well-being are the top priorities. Additionally, you'll be responsible for documenting care provided and reporting any changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Your dedication and attention to detail will be crucial in delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of those you serve

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Administer medication to patients under doctor's supervision.
  • Assist Registered Nurses and Aides with lifting
  • moving and transporting patients. Work with nursing team to maintain safe and clean work environments.
  • Perform routine patient hygiene activities such as bathing
  • oral hygiene
  • shaving
  • etc. if required by facility.
  • Assist with serving meals to patients in accordance with dietary instructions if required by facility.
  • Monitor the flow of intravenous solutions for consistency with Physician orders.
  • Monitor and chart/record patients' vital signs and report any significant changes.
  • Change dressings as directed by the attending Physician.
  • Report any unusual situations regarding patients to the Registered Nurse.
  • Assist in all emergency situations as instructed.
  • Assist with admissions and discharges.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the facility.
  • Requirements:
  • Education/Training: Associates Degree in Nursing
  • Prior work related experience required.
  • Practical Nurse State Nursing License
  • Appropriate Credentials
  • Immunizations
  • In-Services
