Job Description:
As a Field Technician specializing in IT and low voltage systems, you will play a crucial role in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of technology infrastructure for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and test IT and low voltage systems, including network infrastructure, security cameras, access control systems, and audiovisual equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT and low voltage systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their technology needs and provide appropriate solutions and recommendations.
• Document all service activities, including installation, maintenance, and repairs, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide training and technical support to clients on the use and operation of IT and low voltage systems.
• Adhere to industry standards and best practices for the installation and maintenance of IT and low voltage systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments in the IT and low voltage industry.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or certification in Information Technology, Electronics, or related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a field technician or in a similar role, preferably in the IT or low voltage industry.
• Strong technical skills with hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting IT and low voltage systems.
• Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing.
• Familiarity with low voltage systems, such as security cameras, access control systems, and audiovisual equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
