Salary: $15 per hour for those without PSS Certificate

Are you looking for a position that provides scheduling flexibility and an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of older adults living independently in their own home? If so, then consider working for us as a Personal Support Specialist. Part-time and full time hours available. SIGN ON BONUS up to $500. Competitive pay and benefits. Health Insurance (working 30 hrs or more per week), Vision and Dental Insurance available, 403b Retirement. Triple A Coverage provided. Holiday and Weekend pay differential, earned paid time.
We are hiring PSS staff in ALL OF AROOSTOOK COUNTY!! 
We are seeking caring and dependable individuals to care for aging and disabled clients which will enable our clients to continue to live independently in a home setting. Applicants should have genuine interest in working with older or handicapped individuals and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, be dependable, trustworthy and prompt. Qualifications:
1. Certified as a Personal Support Specialist through a State of Maine BEAS approved PSS Program.
2. Currently listed on the Certified Nursing Assistant’s registry as active, or licensed as an RN or LPN.
If you do not have any of the above certifications, we will provide training to meet the requirements of a Personal Support Specialist .
Benefits:
1. Part time with flexible hours, with opportunity to pick up enough hours to be full time.
2. $ 17.25 per hour with pay differential for weekend and holiday time worked.
3. Health insurance offered to those maintaining at least 30 hours a week.
4. Dental Insurance offered to those maintaining at least 20 hours a week.

5. Earned Paid Leave
6. Yearly Triple A coverage - renewed on January each year.

7. EE 403b Retirement contribution
Major Functions:(to vary per consumer)
1. To complete tasks outlined in the Care Plan for each individual participant.
2. Assist clients with bathing and dressing.
3. Assist clients with transferring to chair, bed and toilet to ensure safety.
4. Meal preparation.
5. Complete daily household chores as required. This may include dusting, floor care and other general cleaning.
6. Providing companionship.
7. Assisting with errands as needed and per plan of care.
8. Washing and drying of laundry.
9. Cue to take medications.
