Aronimink Golf Club is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our Members receive top-notch service during their dining experience. Your expertise in providing personalized recommendations and attentive, service will contribute to creating memorable moments for each Member and their guests. You will be responsible for serving food accurately, replenishing buffets, and keeping a clean, organized work area.
Aronimink Golf Club is a private Platinum Golf Club, located just outside of Philadelphia in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. The Club has a rich history dating back to 1896. Aronimink is ranked #28 of the Top 150 Platinum Golf & Country Clubs of the World. This ranking represents the standard of Excellence for the finest Private Golf and Country Clubs around the globe. Aronimink Golf Club is set to hold the prestigious 2026 PGA Championship, and undergoing extensive and exciting renovations.
We offer staff meals (lunch and dinner), employee uniforms, employee golf play days, and a friendly, engaging work environment.
Food Runner Functions:
- Assist in the preparation and setup of food orders for delivery to guests.
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness in food preparation and delivery.
- Coordinate with servers to prioritize food delivery based on table assignments and guest preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food service areas, including food stations and service trays.
- Monitor food quality and presentation during delivery to ensure adherence to established standards.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding food orders.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to address any discrepancies or special requests related to food orders.
- Assist in clearing and resetting tables as needed to facilitate efficient service.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff.
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing development opportunities to enhance job skills and knowledge.
Essential Requirements:
· Must be at least 16 years old
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Possess basic knowledge of excellent service standards as well as etiquette.
· Possess good communication and guest relation skills
· Available to work weekends, evening shifts, and major holidays
· Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules
· Regular and predictable attendance.
· Arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance at all times
· Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
· Able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 50 pounds with assistance
· Must be able to multi-task several different actions at once.
· Must be able to follow directions, read, and write
· Experience with a full-service country club operation preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
