Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Janitor. As a Janitor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our multifamily apartment complex. Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming common areas, hallways, and entryways.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of restrooms, common rooms, and other shared spaces.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with established guidelines.
• Assist with the setup and cleanup of community events or gatherings.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends or evenings if required.
