Job Details

Job Purpose:

The Consultant will work with the Child Support Program, Enterprise System Support Process (ESSP), as the Project Management Office for the S/4HANA project on the CAMS team. This position will work with agency executives, managers, technical and functional staff, contractors, partners, vendors and other team members for Project Management officer duties related to the design, development, and implementation of the CAMS S/4HANA project. The position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project including but not limited to, the project schedule, deliverables, status reporting, and communications.

Primary Job Duties/Tasks:

Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Responsible for project management deliverables such as project charter, project schedule, communication plan, required status meetings, and others.

Assist CSP in preparing responses to contractor/project partner plans and deliverables. Planning and identifying quality requirements, estimating costs, and determining budgets.

Develop and manage a project management plan, monitor the project work, and manage any necessary changes, issues, and coordinate resolution.

Identify and manage project risks, planning for documentation of potential risks, assist with implementing and managing mitigation strategies.

Prepare and present project status reports and metrics, defining and developing schedules and/or activities, estimating resources and activity durations; monitor the progress of a project; compare actual performance against planned/scheduled performance; adjust schedule/resources to ensure that key milestones are reached.

Planning and identifying human resource needs.

About the Candidate:

Qualifications

1. Education - Bachelor s or Master s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business

Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.

2. Certification - Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project

management curriculum is required.

Required Experience

1. A minimum of 4 years of Project Management experience

2. A minimum of 7 years of information technology work experience

3. Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functionalities.

Desired Experience

1. Knowledge of SAP S4

2. Knowledge of Migration to S4

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

The submitted candidate must be able to apply common knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:

1. Ability to develop Project Management Plans and Schedule

2. Ability to analyze business problems from both a qualitative and quantitative perspective.

3. Ability to provide ad-hoc requests for data.

4. Ability to organize data into logical formats.

5. Ability to generate briefing papers, issue papers, other management reports, and presentations

(i.e., Power-Point), when required.

6. Subject matter knowledge of communications planning and execution.

7. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Project.

8. Ability to conduct fact finding research.

9. Ability to plan, organize, document, lead and facilitate meetings and follow-up activities, and

10. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
