Army Tank-Automotive and Armament Command (TACOM) is Hiring a Lead Logistics Management Specialist Near Warren, MI

Qualifications:

Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or detail NTE 1 year by a current permanent Army Employee. Temporary promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years and may be made permanent without further competition.

Position may be filled as a temporary appointment NTE 1 year, if the candidate is not a current permanent Army Employee. Temporary appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three years. Employees on temporary appointments will be separated once the Not-to-Exceed (NTE) Date is reached.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes coordinating the functions of technical specialists involved in major system's including: 1) technical manual development process, 2) maintenance planning, 3) POM budget processes, and 4) depot repair programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
