Army Navy Country Club, recognized by Platinum Clubs of America as the top 3% of the clubs in the country, is seeking talented, dedicated, team orientated greens/grounds keepers!

The greens keepers, under the supervision of the Asst. Superintendent or Foreman, performs work involving manual tools, small to medium size equipment, including shovels, rakes, weed eaters, blowers, walk behind mowers, riding mowers, utility vehicles and other maintenance equipment.

Functions 

• Mows greens, tees and collars. Rakes traps.
• May operate smaller or larger equipment as directed by supervisor.
• Digs trenches, rakes leaves and debris, fills divots.
• Watering of greens, tees, collars etc. with hoses.
• Ensures that equipment is operating properly; refills fuel and oil daily; reports equipment problems or failures to the Mechanic.
• Returns equipment and tools to designated area at maintenance facility.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.

Employment Standards 

• Knowledge of safe operation of mechanical and motorized equipment.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. or more.
• Reliability and punctuality is essential.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions: hot, cold, windy, snow, ice, rain.
• Must be in uniform at all times; uniforms are provided.

This job is a civilian position and does not require military service (including commission and enlistment)
