A Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company in Canton, Massachusetts is looking for a Human Resources Supervisor. The Human Resources Supervisor will help develop policy and directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, employee relations, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or seven to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Sunshine Act
Armstrong reports payments and other transfers of value to health care providers as required by federal and state transparency laws and implementing regulations. These laws and regulations require Armstrong to provide government agencies with information such as a health care provider’s name, address and the type of payments or other value received, generally for public disclosure. Subject to further legal review and statutory or regulatory clarification, which Armstrong intends to pursue, reimbursement of recruiting expenses for licensed physicians may constitute a reportable transfer of value under the federal transparency law commonly known as the Sunshine Act. Therefore, if you are a licensed physician who incurs recruiting expenses as a result of interviewing with Armstrong that we pay or reimburse, your name, address and the amount of payments made currently will be reported to the government.
