Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our line of steam condenser tools. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in various technical areas. The position will require travel, all over the country, for weeks/months at a time depending on the project . In between projects this is a part time position where the applicant will ensure tools are fully serviced and ready for the next project.

Duties:
- Set up, maintain and repair of equipment and machinery
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate calibration of equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and recommend preventive measures
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical solutions
- Provide training and guidance to customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including parts used, time spent, and services performed

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Strong knowledge and experience with general mechanical practices
- Experience as an industrial electrician or industrial mechanic
- Proficiency in electrical systems
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments effectively
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is desirable
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• OSHA 10 (Preferred)
• OSHA 30 (Preferred)

Security clearance:

• Confidential (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)

Work Location: On the road
