• Assist with the planning, implementation and evaluations of all nursing services
• Work alongside the Director of Nursing to review, establish, and maintain patient care protocol and standards, ensuring that all federal and state, Armor, and facility policies, regulations and guidelines for patient care are met
• Establish and coordinate quality improvement, safety and infection control programs
• Review pharmacy utilization to ensure adherence to formulary
• Reinforce the Director of Nursing in establishment and implementation of short- and long-range organization goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures

• BSN with Master’s Degree in nursing preferred
• Current state RN licensure
• Background in emergency room or correctional nursing setting preferred
• Three years of supervisory experience, preferable in a correctional care setting
