Freight Broker/Dispatcher

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Broker to join our team. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for managing accounts, negotiating rates, and generating leads to secure new business. Qualifications:

- Experience as Freight Broker/Dispatcher

- Strong knowledge of the transportation/logistics industry

- Excellent communication and sales negotiation skills

- Excellent customer service skills, able to build and maintain business relationships.

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment and a strong understanding of urgency.

- Must be highly organized and efficient.

- Motivated individual who wants to grow

- Reliable transportation and ability to commute

Job Responsibilities:

- Handle day-to-day operations between customers and carriers.

- Source shipments and secure carriers to transport freight.

- Negotiate rates with customers and carriers.

- Coordinate and dispatch shipments.

- Communicate with customers.

- Resolve any issues that arise in transportation.

Schedule:

- 8 Hour shift

- Day shift

- On-call availability

- Weekend on call as needed.
