Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time Construction Contract Specialist - Compliance Analysis with civil construction experience in the New Jersey City, NJ area.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience in the field of compliance analysis, at least 2 of which must be in a construction setting.

This is a full-time, on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare MWDBE/SDVOB subcontracting participation goals analysis based on contract scope.
• Monitor contractor performance/progress and prepare contract status reports including recommendations for early action on MWSDBE/SDVOB contracts if required..
• Provide outreach to MWDBE/SDVOB firms through means of database and outside exhibits.
• Prepare status reports, analysis, data request, ad hoc and standardize report creation
• Assist in with ongoing user training, support and facilitation for contractors performing on contracts.
• Utilizing B2Gnow system, review and reconcile incoming data from SAP software.
• Participate in contract progress meetings, including pre-bids, low bids, and compliance goal meetings related to MWSDBE participation and performance
• Represent and handle the duties and responsibilities of the Manager for Contract Compliance in their absence.
• Maintain accurate filing, both digital and/or manual.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in construction, business, or a related field is required.
• Firm understanding of process needed to verify and maintain contract compliance (MWSDBE/SDVOB) in a construction setting.
• Minimum of 4 years in the field of compliance analysis, at least 2 of which must be in a construction setting.
• Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerBI, and Powerpoint required.
• Understanding of the program B2GNow is preferred, but training will be provided.
• A valid driver's license is required for this position.
• Staff must have the ability to pass a Secure Worker Access Consortium (SWAC) personnel background screening at a High Level and ability to comply with policies on information security.
• Staff must have demonstrated ability to meet schedules and budgets for project deliverables.
• Staff must have strong interpersonal, written, oral and collaboration skills.
