Description: JOB PURPOSE: The Manager of Clinical Operations works with nursing leadership to support clinical initiatives identified at the system, entity, and department levels. The Manager of Clinical Operations collaborates with the Chief Nursing Officer and/or Chief Operating Officer, department directors and managers, physicians, and other hospital and system leadership, using Quality and Process Improvement methods. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate of a Nursing program. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Three (3) years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting, including at least one (1) year of relevant leadership experience required. MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Current nursing licensure in the state of Georgia with active, unrestricted license. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstration of project management skills is required. Bachelors degree preferred KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. May, coordinate daily operations directly impacting patient care, delivery of customer service, human resources, cost and finances for assigned unit(s). 2. Coordinates efforts with department leadership to improve operational activities related to enhancing efficiencies, patient satisfaction, physician satisfaction, and cost-effective outcomes for clinical services. 3. Monitors departmental quality standards and regulatory compliance. 4. Collaborates with ancillary departments to develop strategic action plans that drive change and process improvements. 5. Responsible for monitoring progress towards goals related to compliance with standard operating process and procedures. Perform periodic audits, surveys, and organizational assessments. 6. Facilitates communication between relevant stakeholders and hospital departments. 7. Implements, monitors, and evaluates a standard work process that promotes collaborative clinical practice and ensures professional standards of practice. 8. All duties and patient interaction performed in accordance with QSS standards. 9. Collects, organizes and analyzes data in addition to generating and providing accurate and complete reports for management and/or regulatory agencies. 10.
