ARM Environmental Services is Hiring a Project Geologist Near Columbia, SC

ARM Environmental Services, Inc. is an environmental services firm based in South Carolina. We specialize in providing comprehensive environmental consulting and site rehabilitation services for commercial, industrial, and government projects. With over 30 years of experience, ARM has successfully completed thousands of environmental assessment and remedial projects across the Southeast, primarily in South Carolina and North Carolina.

Position Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role for an experienced Hydrogeologist. The primary responsibilities for the advertised position will include preparation of soil and groundwater assessment and corrective action reports and work plans, as well as coordination with clients, regulators, junior staff, and Principals. This position will also include collaborative oversight of field staff, as well as limited borehole logging and aquifer evaluation at job sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience. Experience must include field work and office work in environmental consulting
  • Professional Geologist, or Geologist in Training
  • Experience with South Carolina environmental regulations, particularly SUPERB
  • Strong knowledge of groundwater systems and contaminants
  • Proven proficiency in technical writing, Excel, and CAD drafting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills are a must
