The Arlo Williamsburg Hotel is an independent lifestyle boutique hotel located in the middle of the action and on the stoop of local hotspots, from entertainment to culture.We are looking for Event Servers for our catering and special events.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist the catering and special events team with administrative support including answering phones, responding to emails, scheduling appointments with clients, filing and copying, ordering special items for events, creating event signage, food labels, etc. 
• Schedule site visits for the catering and special events team. 
• Create, revise, detail, and distribute BEO contracts as instructed by catering and special events managers. 
• Assist with client billing and contracts. 
• Ensure all events are properly entered and blocked in Delphi. 
• Attend weekly BEO meetings. 
• Perform other job-related activities as required or assigned by a supervisor/manager 

Qualifications: 

• Experience as an event coordinator or previous experience in special events or sales. 
• Proficient in MS Office. 
• Knowledge of Opera and Delphi preferred. 
• Excellent organization and administrative skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to partner with various individuals including guests, clients, vendors, colleagues, and managers. 
• Able to work in a team environment and welcome feedback and direction. 
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. 

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb up and down stairs, walk, carry multiple objects.
