Arlluk Technology Solutions is looking for an experienced Scrum Master (Mid) to support a large Agile implementation project of a new Grants system based on Pegasystems.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Support the implementation and adaptation of Agile methods and processes throughout a federal organization
- Assess and enhance existing Agile methods and processes by identifying areas of improvement
- Act as the intermediary and liaison between the government and scrum team as needed
- Support the design and development of training materials as needed
- Support an organizational transformation from traditional project management processes to the adaptation and implementation of Agile methodologies and processes
- Work with government product owners to develop products and to collaborate with the government product owners and others to build a backlog of product items
- Help define and develop user stories based on product owner requirements
- Lead sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, scrums, and backlog grooming sessions
- Identify, document, and share best practices and lessons learned from retrospectives for the betterment of the team and other scrum teams
- Work closely with other team members including developers, test engineers, and other technical staff
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily scrums, demos, retrospectives, grooming, and planning sessions
- Conduct research to gain user insights into the use and implementation of Agile methodologies
Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years of total experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of related experience
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience in any of the following:
- Ability to create program/project documentation and presentation materials
- Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with OJP and/or DoJ business processes
- Experience Coaching and mentoring the Scrum Team on how to adhere to the Scrum Framework to the success of the project
- Experience acting in a Scrum Master or other servant-leader position to assist and coach the team on ways to improve delivery of work
- Experience advising the Scrum Team on how to self-organize to negate dependency on external resources
- Experience removing and mitigating impediments from the team's work
- Experience gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation
- Experience with full product lifecycle and understanding the development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle
- Experience promoting the Scrum Framework and educating client on adoption
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business, information technology, or computer related discipline
- Advanced agile certifications such as an A-CSM, a CSP-SM or equivalent required
- Certifications in a Scaled Agile methodology given preference
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Candidates must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance, per government requirements
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience working directly with government staff
- Experience with Pegasystems technology & implementation
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and/or an Agile based work environment
- Three (3 ) or more years’ experience in project planning and management including; backlog prioritization, sprint schedule management and risk management
- Three (3 ) or more years’ experience in project reporting including: providing status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership, and reporting on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
- Three (3 ) or more years’ experience in stakeholder management including; managing customer expectations for project deliverables, status meetings, and change proposals
- Experience monitoring, tracking and controlling outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
- Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
- Must be fully fluent in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel

Working Environment & Conditions:
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
