The Arlington Central School District, a unique culturally diverse district with influences of urban, suburban and rural settings, is located in the Mid-Hudson region of Dutchess County New York. We are currently seeking applicants for an Assistant Principal on the elementary level with special education responsibilities, effective July 1, 2024, for a Grades K-5 building with a student population of approximately 600. Candidates must be highly-motivated school leaders with a demonstrated ability to impact student learning. Successful candidates must possess strong communication skills; have a deep understanding of child development and effective pedagogical practices; commitment to the development of the whole child and the belief that all children can learn. Interested applicant should also have a record of successful experience as a teacher and administrator with preferred experience in special education and/or school psychology.

Salary: $113,000-$116,000
