During the school vacation weeks, Arlington Center for the Arts offers a variety of fun, creative arts programs for preschoolers through teens. Our camps value imagination, artistic exploration and self-expression. Currently, we are seeking a Visual Art Teacher for multiple weeks of our Vacation Arts Camp programs.

Week 10 (8/26- 8/30):

Vacation Arts Camp runs Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 4:15 pm. Teachers are contracted to work 8:45 - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, which includes an hour unpaid break and 30 min of paid prep each day. This program is for campers age 5-12. Campers are grouped by age and rotate from class to class for 1 - 1.25 hrs each. Campers are in groups of 10 maximum and will have a counselor to help guide them.
Art Academy (AA) runs Monday – Friday, 9:15 am – 4:15 pm. Teachers are contracted to work 8:45 - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, which includes an hour unpaid break and 30 min of paid prep each day. This program is for campers age 7-12. Campers are grouped by age and stay in the same classroom with the same teacher and counselor throughout the day. Campers are in groups of 12 maximum and will have a counselor to help guide them.
Teen Art Studio runs Monday - Friday, 8:45 - 4:00 PM, with one 45 min long, unpaid break and 30 min of paid prep each day. This program is for students age 12-18. Students are in morning and afternoon cohorts, so you will see different students Monday - Friday in your morning session (9 am - 12pm) as you will Monday - Friday in your afternoon session (1 - 4pm). You will have no more than 12 students in a given cohort.
