Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a prominent Little Rock Entrepreneur to find a talented Accountant for his Family Office. Our client has a diverse portfolio of businesses and investments in several different industries including: real estate, aviation, farming, and healthcare, and several others. CEO is seeking an Accountant to work directly with him and his team to bring all accounting in house to have a full grasp on the portfolio, and to assist in his personal finances.

Responsibilities:

• Full charge bookkeeping for multiple entities in array of industries one of the larger industries in Real Estate
• Monthly financial summaries of asses and businesses (MD&A)
• Assist in private investment and real estate evaluations and draft summaries
• Private Equity Investment Bookkeeping
• Paying and tracking business transactions and duties including: real estate business bills, real estate business taxes, personal bills and tax processing, franchise taxes
• Bill Payment and Coordination for both business and personal and payroll for contract employees
• Assist with personal errands (maybe 5% of the job)- running errands around town, meeting potential tenants to show property for lease, check on track status of construction projects, etc.
• Work with outside CPA Firm for tax planning and reviews
• Administrative support when needed for CEO

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in business preferred, but experience will trump education
• Strong bookkeeping for multi-entity
• Strong Technical skills: QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Ability to research specific topics online and provide summary intelligence about potential investments
• Ideally some business background for strong business aptitude
• Confidentiality is a must ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Self-starter and inquisitive

The Family Office is located in a brand-new beautiful building in West Little Rock. CEO prefers accountant to be in office most days- but is open to some hybrid work. Typically working hours are 9-5 with a lot of flexibility.
