NorthWest Arkansas Community College is Hiring a Part-Time Video Content Marketing Specialist for Cycling and Trails Program Near Bentonville, AR

We are seeking a part-time Social Media and Video Content Marketing Specialist to create engaging and informative social media and video content for our cycling and trails programs. The ideal candidate will have experience creating social media campaigns as well as in video production and editing, digital marketing, the ability to translate English into Spanish and/or Marshallese, and a passion for cycling and outdoor adventures. In this role, the PT social media and video content producer will be responsible for taking pictures, attending events, producing, editing, and publishing social media and video content that showcases the beauty and excitement of both our regions and our cycling and trails programs while also attracting and engaging our target audience. This person will report to the Marketing and Outreach Specialist for Bike and Trails programs, as well as coordinate closely with NWACC's Marketing and PR department, as well as with the Directors of the Cycling and Trails programs.
This position is grant-funded for five years and will serve credit, accelerated skills training, and community class programs and students.
This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule. The position is located at NWACC, and work will be done offsite or on location. If you are an experienced social media content marketer who wants some part-time work, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and analyze the data, for a social media content strategy that aligns with our region's Outdoor Recreation initiative cycling and trails program's marketing goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Outreach/Marketing Specialist and NWACC marketing team to identify content themes and topics that will resonate with our target audience.
  • Create compelling content that highlights the program's offerings, including cycling/trails students, programming, events, trail adventures, and other components of the cycling and trails related outdoor recreation economy.
  • Take photographs, attend events, and record and edit video footage to produce high-quality, engaging content for social media.
  • Optimize videos for search engines and social media platforms.
  • Monitor and report on video engagement metrics, including views, likes, comments, and shares.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media and video production trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure that our content remains fresh and innovative.

Pay per Hour $20.00 - $25.00

  • Ability to be punctual and self-motivated
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students and faculty from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in video production and digital marketing.

  • Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or iMovie.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.

  • A passion for promoting cycling and outdoor adventures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
