Description

Job Purpose: Provide nursing care to patients in professional manner. Assist providers with assessment and management of patient care. Covers when primary clinical staff needs assistance or is out.

Job Duties:

  • Follows all duties and job descriptions for all other clinical positions at Cabot Medical Care.
  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; reporting when repairs are needed.
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
  • Serves and protects the physician or health care provider practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
  • Enhances health care practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Conforms to all clinic policies outlined in the employee manual or received verbally from a supervisor.
  • Keep all licensures current.
  • Performs any other task assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

Skills/Qualifications: Clinical Skills, Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Procedural Skills, Documentation Skills, Verbal Communication, Inventory Control, Planning, Dependability, Medical Teamwork

Required Certification: Medical Assistant Diploma (Registration/Certification is a must) or an active Arkansas LPN license.

Preferred Experience: Rooming patients, Medication Prior Authorizations, phlebotomy and lab processing, updating patients medical chart, electronic medical records, addressing message with patients.
